Iluka

Located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Iluka is situated a 17 km drive off the Pacific Highway, 60 km north of Grafton and 76 km south of Ballina. Nestling idyllically on the northern mouth of the Clarence River, Iluka is surrounded by Bundjalung National Park, World Heritage listed Rainforest, the mighty Clarence River and the South Pacific Ocean.

Iluka/Yamba Ferry
The Clarence River Ferries operate a regular daily passenger ferry service between Yamba and Iluka. A current timetable can be obtained from the Clarence River Ferries Website


Fishing in Iluka NSW
Fishing is Iluka's claim to fame & the Clarence Head Caravan Park provides the perfect base with a boat ramp within 100m. Clarence Head Caravan Park is walking distance to the harbour & marina with safe access to some of the best reef fishing the east coast has to offer. For the land based fisho you've got it all from rock hopping, beach fishing, river spinning or just sitting on a jetty catching a feed for dinner. Iluka Nature Reserve
Iluka Nature Reserve protects the largest remaining beachside rainforest in NSW, a valuable remnant of what was once an extensive coastal forest. State of New South Wales through the Department of Environment and Climate Change


Bundjalung National Park Iluka
Bundjalung National Park starts at Evans Head and spans 38km to Iluka. Full of natural beauty and wildlife Bundjalung National Park is a great place for bird watching and nature walks.


Iluka Beaches and 4WD Access
Main Beach was rated by Tracks magazine inside the top 30 breaks in Australia. If you are a 4wd enthusiest or just love beach fishing we have 4wd access at Main Beach & Shark Bay. Within 40min from Clarence Head Caravan Park is Iluka Bluff Whale watching platform where you can snorkel or swim in the 'nursery' lagoon.


Iluka Markets

The Iluka markets are held on the first Sunday of every month at the corner of Owen & Spencer Streets. 8am start for the bargain enthusiast. Stalls may include cakes, plants and hand-made gifts such as soaps, candles and liquorice as well as lots of activities for the kids.
